Dear Mr Hofmann,

Jeffrey and I are sending you this letter so we can thank you so very much for all you did for both of us.

From the beginning and from when J was charged and we had our first meeting with you, to the last, being the sentencing hearing, your professionalism showed.  J and I had never been involved in the justice system and we were both scared and anxious not knowing or understanding what was going to happen.  Even though you were always extremely busy, you took the time to talk us through every step, which meant when we went to the Courts, we had some idea of what was going to happen.

The outcome of the sentencing hearing meant that we could once again look to the future, without all that you did for us, this would not be possible.

We would also like to thank your lovely secretary Angela; whenever we spoke to her we found her so helpful, caring and understanding, which we both appreciated.  So please accept out heartfelt thanks.
