"Forever grateful always"

 I honestly don’t know if words will ever be enough to thank you for what you have done for my family.

 You stood beside my dad when our world was falling apart. You fought for him, believed in him, and carried the weight of this case with such strength, intelligence, empathy and compassion. 

Because of you, my dad has his life back. Because of you, our family can finally breathe again, because of you my little girl and nephews still have their Grandad in their life.

 Watching someone you love go through something like this is devastating and heartbreaking in ways I can’t even fully explain. 

We felt fear, grief, exhaustion, and helplessness that felt unbearable. But through all of it, you were steady. You gave us hope when it felt impossible to find any.

 What you did was more than just being our lawyer. You protected a person we love deeply. You gave my father his freedom, his dignity, and his future back.

 Thank you for believing in me and Mum, and giving us the strength to stand up and speak in court when we were absolutely terrified and completely beside ourselves with fear. There were moments we felt like we were falling apart, and that we couldn’t do this. 

But you believed in us and kept grounding us and reminding us that we were going to be ok, and that we could do it, and you truly believed that. 

 I will never forget the moment I heard he was not guilty, even though we missed the official part of that hahah. 

The relief, the emotion, the shock, the feeling of finally being able to breathe after carrying so much pain for so long — that is something I will carry with me forever.

 Thank you for every late night you worked, every hard conversation you had to have, every moment you fought for the truth, and every ounce of care and patience you showed our family throughout this process.

 You changed our lives forever, and I will always be grateful for that forever. 

 Please say thank you to the rest of your team also, who showed us kindness and care throughout.
