We first met Mr Curt Hofmann and his associates some 8 years ago when our son, who has a Neuro-disability, was bullied by work colleagues into committing a criminal act. We were highly stressed and anxious because of the potentially serious outcomes associated with this. For over a year we progressed through the justice system. Throughout the entire episode, Curt provided honest advice. He also reassured us. Eventually, he obtained an outcome we believed would not be possible – we were so relieved. Unfortunately, the bullying recently resurfaced (by the same bully in the same workplace), and once again we had to call upon Curt and his colleagues for legal representation. That we went back to him, with no consideration of other legal firms, is a testament to the respect we have for him and his associates. Once again, he guided us through the process and offered sound advice. On our court appearance before the presiding magistrate, he was quite simply magnificent. The way in which he spoke to our son and reassured him during the hearing, along with how he communicated to the magistrate that our son has no criminal intent, but rather his impulsive and poor decision making as a result of his neuro-disability leads to these kinds of situations was professional, yet compassionate. Curt secured another highly satisfying outcome for us and our son. At the end of the hearing, we were taken aback as our son warmly embraced Curt, something we have not seen him do with anyone because of his neuro-disability. Having someone in your family with a disability can be challenging at any time. When they become entangled with the Justice system life can become almost unbearable. Thank you, Curt!
