As a consequence of extensive negotiations conducted with the police we were able to have a charge of aggravated grievous bodily harm downgraded to the less serious charge of aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm. The client was sentenced to a Community-Based Order of eight months and a spent conviction was granted.

Katherine Dowling represented our client before a Judge and jury in the Perth District Court in relation to a charge of sexual penetration without consent and indecent dealing. Our client was acquitted on both counts.
